Tube Bending Machine – Metal Former

A major tube bending machinery manufacturer, traditionally using hydraulics, was requested by a customer to provide a non-hydraulic solution. They developed a five axis tube bending tool using E•DRIVE heavy wall steel construction linear actuator/electric cylinders. These linear actuator/electric cylinders are used for the following functions within the tube bending machine: Pressure die, clamp die, bend die, mandrel, and position stop. This tube bending tool is now bending exhaust pipe for an auto manufacturer.
