The unusually low profile minimizes the moment loading, making these particularly valuable in machine tool and other highly loaded applications. These rugged units have ductile iron slides running on hardened and ground steel ways. The slides utilizes a full length gib guiding over one way to obtain a superior length to width ratio which results in smooth and accurate operation. These assemblies are compact and self contained and are easily and economically adapted to existing or new machines.
